My experience was further elevated over the weekend with noticeably upgraded breakfast selection that went above and beyond the usual weekday breakfast offerings, setting a delightful start to the weekend. This feature alone makes it a top choice for those seeking the pulse of the city. The attention to detail in the design of the rooms did not go unnoticed. The beds are very comfortable which adds to the favorably of rebooking a second stay here. Additionally, the variety of parking options available was a welcome convenience, removing any potential stress about vehicle security and accessibility. The location on Kirkwood can’t be beat. The room was clean enough. When we checked I. There was no toilet paper. It felt like a college dorm room. The walls were paper thin and we heard people all night and all morning as if in our own room… doing… Beer cases sat in hallway. The checkin person was left alone on a Saturday night and she was not a people person so we had to try several times to get what we needed. The bed slept well.

The recently renovated rooms are beautiful and roomy, however there was no alarm clock and the thermostat seemed to be inoperable. The beds were on the firm side but comfortable, if you are someone who requires a firmer mattress, this still be quite nice for you! The pillows were a bit too firm, if I come again, I'll remember to bring my own (I'm very particular about my pillows, so don't fault them for this too much). The bathroom was modern and very nice. The only real "complaint" was that their fire alarms in each room have a light that flashes every few seconds and it is bright enough to almost light the entire room. My husband found this difficult to block out. But what the little mishaps of the room lacks for, it was greatly made up for at breakfast! This is an all you can eat buffet of variety! DIY fruit parfaits and oatmeal, eggs with bacon and fried potatoes, cereal, bagels, toast, French toast, coffee, juice, milk... it was wonderful. This hotel is right in the heart of Bloomington, making it ideal for those looking to explore downtown on foot. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and if we decide to come back to Bloomingtin, I wouldn't hesitate to pack my pillow and come again! ☆☆☆☆

Hotel is nice but the staff working tonight made me cringe. He was so rude, and I never write bad reviews. But my goal is to help management identify this staff member so they can eliminate him. Trust me, you do not want this guy working for you! He has road rash all over his face. The date is September 2. Look and see who was working the night shift.

Been staying at this hotel for most of the year. Great hotel and decent location, but the recent new management left me furious. Had a great connection with the previous manager and a decent rate setup for how often I book a room in Bloomington (nearly everyday for work!). Came in as normal and new general manager says he won’t be changing the rate, and didn’t even set me up with a sales rep for a new corporate rate! No support towards loyal customers! The guy wouldn’t do anything for me so I cancelled my reservation that evening and had to find another hotel on the spot! Have never had this problem with the other hotels I stay at (Hilton, Marriott). Unbelievably awful service
